Composite Resins

Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites are used to replace typical structural materials of steel, metal, aluminum and wood. In FRP applications with fire safety concerns or high-temperature requirements, phenolic resin systems have advantages over polyesters, epoxies, and vinyl esters. Phenolic FRP resins are used in a wide range of applications including ballistics, mine ventilation, offshore water pipe systems, aerospace, railways and mass transit.

Various grades are available that can be further customized to meet your specific end-use and processing requirements. Also available are, phenolic resins for glass and carbon fiber prepegs for aerospace applications.
